"MUCH REASON FOR HOPE"Roundtable for patients with ADTKD


August 25, 2022 - The Rare Kidney Disease Foundation (RKDF) cordially invites all ADTKD patients and their families to its 2022 Virtual Patient Roundtable. It will take place on Sunday, September 18, at 11:00 PM European Time (5:00 AM EDT). RKDF is the US-based support organization for ADTKD patients.


The invitation states: "2022 is an exciting year for our patients and families, as further important advances are expected regarding potential therapies for the ADTKD disorders MUC1 and UMOD." Speakers include Dr. Anna Greka from the Broad Institute at MIT/Harvard and Owen Hughes, representing a biomedical start-up company. Both are heavily involved in researching and developing a therapy for ADTKD patients.


In addition, the RDKF will preview the 3rd International ADTKD Summit on October 8, 2022. At this virtual event, patients and researchers from around the world will share the latest advances in ADTKD. The RDKF writes: "There is much to celebrate together and much reason for hope!"


The event will be held in English.
